Ocean View at Henrys Dream

Our next concert:

HENRYS DREAM

throughout the bands existence we’ve tried to make people aware of issues in the perception of what music can do.

When we started playing we experienced that the live situation was very affected by routines.

Doors open, people are late, people are always late to concerts, the first band goes on stage, plays for 30 minutes, leaves stage, next band and so on.

Not many musicians seek to challenge the live situation. Or if they do, there are restrictions to tell them not to.

A couple of days ago we made an interview with the danish music magazine Undertoner. The journalist asked us about a quote we made some time back on how we wanted to challenge the live situation.

But with that question she made us aware that this was a thing that actually has changed within the time we’ve been playing.

A lot more bands are trying to challenge the perspective on how one, as audience, experience music.

That said, what we want to draw focus on is the new festival HENRYS DREAM.

We’ve been invited to play this debut festival that goes from July 18th-20th.

The focus on this festival is exactly what we’ve been trying to achieve. To make the concert be a complete experience. Every concert on Henrys Dream will have a complete experience as the festival perceive it self as one big piece of art.

With Henrys Dream we feel that a manifestation has happened. Henrys Dream is the manifestation of moving boundaries in terms of music in live situations.

We highly recommend everyone to go experience this themselves.

LAST DAYS

photo

We are back where we started this tour; at ‘Rock Bottom/the Tea Factory, New York, and tomorrow we’re going back home to Copenhagen.

This tour has been an educative journey. We’ve met many fine people; musicians, promoters, bookers, a lot of different people.

It’s been amazing to travel around meeting like-minded people everywhere we’ve gone.

We want to give our love to the those who helped us out.

First of all!

Thanks a lot to the people back in Copenhagen who gave us the motivation to go on this tour in the first place.
